Preparing and Updating Your Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) This workshop provides public agencies and non-profits all the tools to identify their potential impacts from unforeseen emergency events and the steps necessary to prepare for and respond to all aspects of emergency events. Key items include the development of a pre-event timeline and checklist for preparation at each timeline target. Duties and responsibilities are identified in a clear and concise manner allowing all employees and elected officials to understand their roles and responsibilities. Preparing for Storms and Recovery Operations Workshop - Full Day This workshop helps essential employees (Public Works, Utilities, Police, Fire, and Emergency Management) recognize the preparation necessary, the post-event recovery safety concerns and the FEMA Public Assistance Grant program. This includes specific safety training on post event hazards and various storm preparedness exercises.
